At work, we are not able to make Firefox our default browser.

How can I configure 8Start so I can launch web links using Firefox rather than IE. It seems 8Start defaults to openning URLs using IE (because my default browser is IE?). I would like to change it to Firefox. Is there something I can do in the configuration settings to allow this?

Without change the default browser is possible but elaborated,
pratically you must launch always firefox and for every link you must specify your web link
- with shortcut:
make varied copies of firefox shortcut; for every one right click on it and after
...firefox.exe" write your web link, then drag (with File explorer) in a group of 8start
- with 8start:
in organize button explore My Computer and go in Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\ and select firefox.exe
click + for adding to Buttons; change the name and in Command Line Parameters write your web link
repeat previous line for every web link...

Naturally with this methods the icons are always the same...

I was only interested in making this change for 8Start. It works exactly like you suggested.

Now, I'll have to make a suggestion for an enhancement to 8Start. That is, allowing someone to change an icon for any menu item by browsing your Desktop, My Computer, etc. for any applicable .ico file.
