I have been using Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 and have found that if 8start is running while I am trying to work in a virtual machine the speed of the virtual machine becomes extremely slow and my mouse jumps around because of it. If I shutdown 8 start then the speed of the virtual machine goes back to normal.

In the past when I had a software conflict like this I updated my video card driver and it resolved it, but I am using the latest driver for my ATI card and still have the issue. I have 2GB of RAM so I don't think that should be causing a problem. Any suggestions?

Some additional detail on this point is that if I "Hide" 8start while using the virtual machine I don't have the speed problem. It only seems to occur if it is displayed on my desktop while I am trying to use the virtual machine.
