As of this afternoon, none of the icons in 8Start work, If I go to menu, organize, open file explorer and click the shortcut they all work fine but if I try and use the icons they don't work. When I mouse over an Icon it shows the program title. I've tried restarting 8Start, reinstalling 8Start and rebooting the PC but to no avail. Anyone got any good ideas?
I mis-spoke above, I didn't uninstall and reinstall I just reinstalled. Now I've done the uninstall reinstall thing and I have a the same issue. I copied my settings to another folder and put them back after the reinstall.
Still looking for a few good ideas to solve this issue.

I give up. This post has been here for quite awhile and been read by a lot of people but apparently no one has a clue how to fix the issue. Today I installed and setup Menu Inventer. It's not quite as elegant as 8Start but at least it works.

I ran to the same problem last night on XP system. Uninstall and reinstall the software works for me.
