OP: windows XP sp3
Language: Chinese
At first it works well. Accidently I can't find the picture any more. Restart 8start, it shows "8start launcher has been launched". And it indeed runs because I can see it in the system tray and task management.
I have tried to restart computer, restart 8start, change the screen resolution... it still doesn't work out.
How should I do?

How many DPI do you have in setting display?

What is DPI?
I reinstall the newest version in my computer. The previous problem is solved. I can see it again. Only I have to do is add the button to 8start again.
BTW:
It also has some problem, maybe bug. I start two programs through 8start (PNote and a graphic one). After 8start is closed exceptionally and restarted, I can't start the two programs any more. When I click the button, the 8start folder pop up. I check the button setting, they are right. Even worse is I try to re-organize the button, after I press "Apply", 8start is frozen and no response in task management.
I think it may be a little bug.
