Well I'm planing to use 8start as my "main" menu in my Litestep theme because I love I'ts concept, but I need something more from it:

-> Command line calls: to allow showing/hiding/positioning via commands :D like "8Start.exe /X:<horz pos> /Y:<vert pos> /ALIGN:ANCHOR"

-> And an option to set "Always on top"

I guess this can be useful for lots of ppl too [:p]

Zzzz...

No answers... or am I using 8start in a wrong way?? (start menu replacement)

Is there someone who knows how to move a window via parameters????
Is annoying, I have a button that send the hotkey to "show" 8start, but it appears always at the position where I've clicked and not in the position where I left it...

And I really mis the Always On top thing

Click at system tray, 8start will use the last remember location.

Using hotkey will appears at the position where you clicked, this is to shorten the distance to your 8start shortcut.

Always on top really not so practical, will block the view your your application.

Maybe you can give me more information about Litestep theme , see whether I can help..

Txs for the new release!! Always amazing!

Mmm... Litestep? the best shell replacement for windows!! seriously take a look at http://www.ls-themes.org

Better than M$ explorer shell in almost every way, it works via "themes" (bad comparison) much like winamp modern skins.

The best thing is that it let's you make your own interface (taskbar, buttons, etc)

So my case is that I have a "Start button" with the purpose to show 8start. Like the green button in explorer. And I need it aligned to the bar...

...I'm too lazy, just look at my screenshot on the "show your 8start" thread ;)
